Canada which isn't too far from that of the United States of America, is set to beat the number of tourists visiting Israel. It reached 7,200 tourists in July 2022, and 6,000 visitors in tourists in August.
Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada within the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are not too far away from our record in 2019 and we expect that the rise in travel to Israel will continue to grow because Canadians are more comfortable traveling across the globe."
Israel welcomed over 4.6 million visitors in the year 2019. 969,600 were of the United States. The country's official reopening for all tourists in May has seen more than 600,000.
