Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking entry into tourism Numbers from the United States
NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire-- The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. נווה פריצקי This is a four% rise over 2019, and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This represents an increase of 13% over 2019.
Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner. He stated, "It's so exciting to witness a further increase of tourism to Israel from America, already reaching or surpassing the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019". "The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourists entering the country each month. It's a great positive shift that we are very happy about and anticipate an upward trajectory for years to come."
Canada is not far behind the United States of America, is poised to surpass the number of tourists visiting Israel. It reached 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6,000 in tourists in August.

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening for all travelers regardless of vaccination status in May this year The country has seen more than 600,400 US tourists.
