Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourist entry The Numbers Come from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- In July and August 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record numbers of tourists arriving from the United States. The country welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over the year before.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was exciting to see an increase in tourism to Israel coming from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019 he stated. "The United States is our number one destination for our inbound tourism to Israel.
